Text Box: PDAP is a fellowship of young people and parents who share their experience, love and understanding that they may solve their common problems and help others to recover from the effects of mind-changing chemicals. PDAP is a spiritually based, twelve-step recovery program. PDAP recognizes the tremendous power of peer pressure and provides the teen with a peer group that establishes love, acceptance, and mutual accountability due to the effects of mind changing chemicals. PDAP also offers group discussions and individual coaching to parents. The parent group provides suggestions, experience, and understanding to parents concerning their role in dealing with their child’s drug problem and helps parents learn to communicate more effectively with their children. PDAP’s services are confidential and absolutely free to all participants, all the time. PDAP’s primary requirement for membership is the desire to live a chemical free life.
